MAR Decor is based in Sheffield and welcomes suitable residential and commercial decorating enquiries throughout the city. For luxury residential work, particular areas of interest include Dore, Totley, Whirlow, Ranmoor, Fulwood, Ecclesall, Millhouses, Bents Green, Crosspool and Ringinglow. Commercial projects are considered more widely across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

A property’s postcode is only one part of deciding whether a project is suitable. The nature of the building, size of the scope, preparation required and available programme are also important. We would rather discuss a promising project carefully than imply every small enquiry can be undertaken in every location.

The countryside beyond Sheffield includes substantial homes, rural estates, traditional stone properties and hospitality buildings that align with MAR Decor’s specialist focus. We consider projects around Hathersage, Grindleford, Baslow, Bakewell, Hope Valley, Eyam, Castleton, Buxton, Matlock and Ashbourne, as well as other locations where the work is suitable.

Some properties may need particular care with older materials, access or weather exposure. When first contacting us, please identify the property type, the areas to be decorated and any known sensitivities. That makes it easier to discuss a suitable approach and realistic timescale.

For larger residential schemes and selected commercial work, we are willing to travel into Cheshire, including Alderley Edge, Prestbury, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Macclesfield and Poynton. Travel does not make those towns MAR Decor office locations; the business remains Sheffield-based.

Other projects across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and the wider UK may be considered by arrangement. A meaningful initial brief should include the location, approximate scope, photographs or plans and preferred dates so we can discuss feasibility without creating unrealistic expectations.
